After my second Zumba class I am already doing much better! Going to try out One on One training next month...hopefully! Been VERY VERY busy ....all good stuff.

OH MY...I did it..still breathing hard though!



Now I MUST Be serious about all this to be posting such awful pictures. I keep telling myself these are the "befores". Every time I look at them I am reminded WHY I am doing what I am doing.

Well, I had a great excuse NOT to go to my first Zumba class...but then I remembered I told you guys I was going...so I dragged myself and actually had TONS of FUN. What an awesome workout......I am hooked.

Yolanda the instructor was super. I told her it was my first class. Can't say she was easy on me but I can say she made me feel encouraged and certainly made it great fun to get all red faced and sweaty. The music is great, the moves take some coordination but definitely do-able, especially with practice.

I am clearing my work schedule as much as possible for the Tues night 7pm class

I did IT!

Well, I successfully finished my detox. I did lose 4lbs (fitting back into my more recent favorite jeans.....next goal...that one pair of skinny jeans...Then,I will treat myself to new clothes! I feel great and am ready to continue on to phase two of my "healthy changes" for 2010.

I am very proud of the ladies and gents in the group that compeleted this detox with me. It is not easy to make changes and it certianly wasnt easy to have to be as disciplined as need be for this program. Feeling great and being on a path to best health is a awesome reward.

Tomorrow, monday the Feb 8th I am dragging my butt to the gym to start a more regular exercise program. My plans are to work out home 3 days a week and the gym 2. When the weather gets a bit warmer, Macy(my dog), Misty(my cat) and I will be starting our walking program. I will share the details of that when we start.


For now, I will be staying on a whole foods diet, limiting sugar, caffine, alcohol and red meat....new focus on the exercising...of course,splurging a little every once in a while....and living on purpose ;-)
